Sunday July 27, 2008

This Sunday we worship "under the tent" at 1260 west Sherman Blvd. at 10:30am. Pastor Greg will be continuing his series out of the book of Acts called "Life Together" with a focus this week on having a mission together. There will be two little 9 year old girls sharing with us the joy of having a mission together and International Aid out of Spring Lake will all make this a Sunday to remember.

Childcare will be provided this week for 4-8 year olds. There will be a separate tent with crafts and lesson set up next to the big tent.

At 11:45am there is a Celebration Family meeting to discuss and vote on facility development plans.

Hope to see you there this Sunday!

This Sunday, July 20th, we will worship together at Hot Rod Harleys...not a typo!...in downtown Muskegon at 9:00am-10:00am. Lots of chairs and bleachers will be set up so no need to bring anything. Celebration will be leading the music and message. The Christian Motorcycle Association will lead in the Blessing of the Bike(rs). Motorcycles may not be your thing but it is important that we have a strong showing so please be there! This is a phenomenal opportunity for us to show the love of Christ to a whole lot of people. Please be in prayer for our praise band and for my message.

There will not be an offering for Celebration Church so please bring your tithe for this week next Sunday. There will be an offering at The Blessing of the Bikes for The Center For Women in Transition.

Next Sunday, we are back under the tent at 1260 west Sherman Blvd. at 10:30am. After the worship Celebration there will be a meeting of the Celebration Family to discuss two motions that will enable us to move forward on the facility development. You will be receiving more details via snail mail (U.S. Mail) this weekend. Call the church office at 231.759.2104 if you do not receive this mailing.

Please check the web site at www.celebrationmuskegon.com in case of inclement weather. We will try to post any change of plans on the web site by 9:00am. WMC auditorium will be our worship facility for weather that is so severe that we can't worship under the tent.

We had a great first Sunday worshiping under the tent! Great turnout, great worship, and great fellowship! We are getting a lot of attention via the media and the neighborhood is definitely checking us out. We are making a good first impressions...lets continue to show the Muskegon area we are different kind of church that they will want to come and be a part of!

We are in the midst of challenging and exciting times! Please continue to make Celebration a "God thing" by making everything a "prayer thing."
